Swin then settles into his day job by taking up a relationship with Johnna (Eden Brolin) against orders to blend in while Kyle continues to question his night job by trying to figure out who Frog really is. Their world is then upended after one too many inept decisions, and Kyle, Swin, and Johanna find themselves directly in Frog's crosshairs, who mistakenly sees them as a threat to his empire. Based on John Brandon's best-selling book of the same name, ARKANSAS weaves together three decades of Deep South drug trafficking to explore the cycle of violence that turns young men into criminals, and old men into legends.

Wasnt too sure what to expect from this film, but after 10 minutes I got the drift and drifted off into a magical musical experience. I was glued to my chair but it didnt stop my feet tapping. Funny - very emotive - brought back memories of childhood circuses - just a good 2 hours of entertainment. well done.

Checked out for entertainment, a bit curious after seeing the preview. it reminds me of the kind of humor in 'hangover'. funny, entertaining. give it a good check for the entertainment value.

For the most part, this film was well shot, very well acted, and well paced. My only real criticism for the film is the elements I felt were a bit over the top. These would include a bizarrely done flashback snippet, some odd plot occurrences, and a score that I felt elevated the cartoonish nature of the film. Still, would recommend a watch for those who like cat and mouse thrillers

.A let down on the scale of Eragon, Avatar, and Last Airbender. This movie twists the book and concepts to a point that it doesn't deserve the name. If you liked the book, don't waste your time or money.
